Women's Retreat: Reconnecting With The Power of The Sacred Feminine
April 23 - April 27, 2008
Many of you have no idea how powerful you actually are, because it's something you were never taught in the way that ancient cultures understood. This 5-day Women's Retreat will be about coming to a greater, whole-body understanding of your true nature as a woman and the incredible power it contains. Much of our work will be based on Yogic and Indigenous ancient women's teachings.
Women and men are wonderfully and powerfully different, and each needs to be in the center of his/her power to be effective in the journey of this life, and for our relationships and the community as a whole to be healthy and in balance.
However, we come from a culture that tends to train it's women to approach life from a male medicine perspective. Unfortunately, until you as a woman understand the principles behind the differences, and can start to come from that unique place of feminine power, you will be unable to tap into that power completely. Some of the things you will learn at the Women's Retreat include:
- practices that will help put you in alignment with ancient women's teachings (and show where we've gone off course)
- healing techniques that will help open up and energetically "clean out" the womb center where we store old emotional trauma related to our experience of being female
- we will work with and strengthen energy patterns specific to the female body
- we will discuss the dynamic between male and female energy
- we will work on creative projects
- plus much more...
You will have free time each day to work on the exercises we will be accumulating, or just to hang out and enjoy the company, work on a craft, take a dip in Oak Creek, hike the surrounding Red Rocks, rest deeply, or all of the above!
