How to get to Sedona:
The nearest airport is Phoenix, a 2-hour drive
from Sedona. Flagstaff has an airport, but is hardly ever used by our guests.
Transportation from the airport: either a
rental car (public transportation in Sedona is very limited!)
or a shuttle which makes a few stops on the way. The companies that bring you to Angel Valley
can be found on this website on the Shuttle page.
Climate in Sedona:
With an elevation of 4500 feet, Sedona is high desert. This means
an abundance of sun, little rain and differences
in temperature all through the year. In summer the days
can be quite warm, the nights are pleasantly cool. From
November through March it may be below freezing
at night, however the days are often pleasant enough for only a
light coat or a sweater. It may snow a few times
each winter, which turns red rock country into a fairy
land. The snow usually disappears from all but the highest peaks in a few days, sometimes hours.
