Dream Interpretation

DREAMS, A WINDOW TO THE SOUL

Everyone dreams every night. And, we dream several dreams a night. It has been proven, as adults we dream 30% of our night. Whether or not we remember our dreams is personal choice. As is with most human experiences researchers have discovered dream recall is a learned behavior. Learning goes hand in hand with desire. Teaching ourselves to recall dreams is a simple ritual.

After a dream is recalled, the most important step is to take action.  The first action is to write the dream down without embellishment.  Write it down as remembered without trying to interpret it.  Dream journaling is a beneficial tool that may be used in every aspect of life ~ physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

What do we do with these cute or bizarre stories concocted in our nightly escapades?  Dreams are as simple or complicated as we want to make them.  After determining the theme or emotion of the dream, there are usually one or two symbols that stand out.  Determine exactly what these symbols mean personally, and the dream becomes clear, or at least clearer.  This method is only the first step in using dream recall as a tool in getting to know ourselves.  Assistance and teaching tools can be shared to help the dreamer understand his/her emotions, thoughts, actions, intuitions and insights.  Also there are varied methods to help dreamers recall their dreams and learn how to appreciate daydreams and visions.   Once we learn our own capabilities, the more creative approach is used for varied interpretations.  Dreams are a very personal tool in getting to know where we are, where we are going and how to get there.  There is always some message whether it is from our subconscious, the collective unconscious or even the superconscious.   Dreams can be understood in many levels today, tomorrow and have often been found to be “continuing chapters” over the years.
